Last updated: May 4, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of uni-type.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you submit is accurate and current.

2. Nature of the Service

The Site is an advertising and lead-generation platform. We do not underwrite, sell, or issue insurance policies. We connect you with insurance carriers, brokers, and comparison platforms ("Partners") that may present quotes or offers based on the information you provide. We are not a party to any contract you enter into with a Partner.

3. Quotes Are Estimates

Any premiums, savings figures, or quote ranges shown on the Site are estimates for illustrative purposes only. Actual rates are determined by Partners and depend on many factors including, but not limited to, driving history, location, vehicle, coverage levels, and credit-based insurance scoring where applicable. Past savings achieved by other consumers are not a guarantee of future savings for you.

4. Advertorial Content

Some pages on the Site are advertorials. They are paid promotional content, not consumer protection updates or news reports. Any names, photographs, or testimonials in advertorial content may be illustrative and may not depict real customers unless expressly stated.

5. No Professional Advice

Information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only and is not legal, financial, tax, or insurance advice. Consult a licensed professional before making decisions based on information you find here.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site to: (a) submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; (b) impersonate another person; (c) interfere with the operation of the Site or attempt to circumvent its security; (d) use automated means to scrape or extract data; or (e) violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

7. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content (including text, graphics, logos, images, and software) are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use, but otherwise may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission. All trademarks, service marks, and logos appearing on the Site are property of their respective owners.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for them. Your interactions with third parties (including Partners) are solely between you and them and are governed by their terms and policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us and our affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
